Watch Clay Aery's EPK

From such a young age, Aery’s love for music would make him the artist he is today. After an injury that led to the end of his athletic career in college, he began to invest his heart into being a country music artist. Clay was influenced by a wide variety of artists, from Strait and Jackson to Whitley and Haggard; his music portrays that greatly. Aery is proud to have been on the Top Ten on The Daily Play Me Charts. Since moving from Tulsa, OK to Nashville, TN within the last couple of years, Aery has gotten the chance to perform at places like Tootsies, 5th and Broadway, Honky Tonk Central, Kid Rock's , Bootleggers, Redneck Riviera, Rippy's, Live Oak, The Local, Cabana Taps, The Texas Troubadour, The Commodore, and in other states like Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Texas and Oklahoma.

“I was in my music class in elementary school and we were all singing songs and the teacher said, “Hey Clay, pick a song for us to sing today.” and so I picked the song and it was the Garth Brooks song, “We Shall Be Free.” I picked that song out of a book. Music was always an integral part of his life, especially at many of the get-togethers on his father’s side of the family. “My mom’s a singer, but none of our other family members are musical on her side. However, my dad’s side was heavily influenced by music, whether it be singing or playing an instrument,” states the artist.

Aery's love for music and people shines throughout the new single. “When someone tells me that they have enjoyed my performance, that gives me a great feeling inside that they enjoyed it. I hope my lyrics can bring a smile to their face after a long day," says Clay Aery. He is hopeful for the future of his music and plans to tour every chance he gets. His adrenaline rush on stage and the people that appreciate his music , is what makes him want to show the world all he has to offer.
